M&T Freight Logistics LLC ("M&T", "we", "us") sends text messages to shippers, consignees, motor carriers and drivers in connection with freight we broker. These are operational, business-to-business messages. They are not marketing.
A typical message is a load offer, a rate or appointment confirmation, a pickup or delivery update, a check call, or a request for a signed proof of delivery. For example:
We only text a mobile number when its owner has given it to us for that purpose. That happens when you:
Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of doing business with us. You can work with M&T entirely by phone and email if you prefer.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. We will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further texts. You may also reply QUIT, END, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE.

If you opt out and later want the messages again, just text us or tell your M&T contact, and we will restart them.
Message frequency varies — it depends on how many loads you are quoting or hauling with us. During an active load you may receive several messages in a day; in a quiet week you may receive none.
Message and data rates may apply. Those charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us. Check your plan if you are unsure what messages cost you.
This program is available on major U.S. wireless carriers. You must be the account holder of the mobile number, or have the account holder's permission, and be at least 18 years old.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee that every message arrives, or arrives on time. Do not rely on a text message alone for anything time-critical — call us at (562) 200-0938 if a load depends on it.
How we handle the mobile numbers themselves is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: we never share them or your SMS consent with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
The content of mtfreightlog.com is provided for information about our services. Lane descriptions, commodities and seasons are general guidance, not an offer or a quote. Rates are quoted per load, in writing.
Nothing on this site creates a contract. A load moves under a written rate confirmation and, for carriers, a signed broker-carrier agreement. Where this page and a signed agreement disagree, the signed agreement controls.
M&T Freight Logistics LLC is a licensed property broker, not a motor carrier. We arrange for transportation by authorized motor carriers; we do not own or operate trucks and we do not transport freight ourselves.
Our authority and our $75,000 BMC-84 surety bond can be verified directly with the FMCSA under USDOT 4566845 and docket MC-1815993.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the courts located in Los Angeles County, California, except where a signed broker-carrier agreement provides otherwise.
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one posted here, with the effective date shown at the top of the page.
